The Church

there's a touching story behind choosing this church for cha and clarence's wedding:

was bugging cha about getting a church as early as january 2008 and everytime i recommended one she would comment either it doesn't have a long aisle, that one doesn't have airconditioning, or if she liked the church it would turn out to be booked or closed on their wedding day which falls on a monday (usually off days for church administration).

anyway, was so frustrated and so nervous that we might not be able to get a very nice church that i vented to my friends about it during one of our get-togethers. my friend ronald who is a professional photographer suggested i check out this beautiful church where he recently covered a wedding. he promised to send me pictures and when i saw them i quickly called cha and told her about it. she was also getting nervous by that time and was praying help from our mom to help her find a beautiful church for her wedding.

the following day clarence went to the church and envisioned right away how cha would look walking down that very long aisle. he knew right away that this was it! whispering a desperate prayer, he asked the administrator if 4:00 pm december 29 was still available and it was! he paid the downpayment right there and then. later when he told cha about the church and said that the church's name is st. therese (pronounced as teres) she almost cried remembering her prayer to our mom whose name was teresita, after the same saint since her birthday was on st. therese's feast day as well.

Naniniwala ako na ang pagiging magulang hindi natatapos kahit sa kabilang buhay. This goes to show that your mom is watching over you and cha :-)I look forward in witnessing Cha and Clarence's wedding. I pray that the Heavens will pour out its blessings as you prepare this wonderful event.
